Lions Wrap Up their Summer

The Lions concluded their 2012 pre-season with a well-played scrimmage at Independence. Seniors Will Carter and Chris Wilson each had touchdowns in addition to Chad Sonkin's three touchdowns. One of Sonkin's was an interception return on defense. Other seniors played well at the end of their final high school camp including Kurren Bafna, Alex Immel, and RaShaan Arnold. The offense rode several big plays while the defense was stifling. After having the weekend off, the Lions will be back on the practice field to start preparations for the season opener on Friday night at home against Bay Village.
