Work Continues on the Lion's Den...

As most of you know, it is an extremely exciting time to be part of the Orange Football Program! New helmets, new practice jerseys, new equipment, and great efforts from all of our players. Perhaps most exciting of all, is the construction taking place just off Chagrin Blvd. and Gail Allison Drive. New artificial grass turf is currently being installed for many community uses, including, well....football!!! The picture above was taken 6/19/13 and shows the hundreds of yards of dirt that have been removed and the newly graded surface. The main drainage pipes are currently being laid on the perimeters of the field and drainage stone is being laid over it. The plans currently state that the surface will be ready when the Lions take the field for training camp in August. Stay tuned for more updates...
