The Scarabs of East Tech came into Friday night's game hoping to shock the world with a win in the Lion's Den. While the Orange Lions got off to a slow start offensively, they came out in the second half with an explosion of points. Led by Seniors, Stephen Borgman and Chris Von Hendrix, the Orange Lions scored 30 points in the second half when Borgman connected twice with Von Hendrix and once with Junior wide out, Ryan Singer. Junior running backs DaJuan White and Lamar Dixon also had major contributions running behind an offensive line lead by Seniors Ben Weltman, Max Gordon, and Michael Henderson. The Orange Lion defense, looking for redemption from a struggling 2013 season, stifled the East Tech offense allowing only a total of 60 yards of total offense and 6 points. Next week, the Orange Lions will host arch rival Beachwood in a cross-town battle where the Lions look to make it 7 in a row against the Bison. Come support your Orange Lions next Friday at 7pm when they take on "The Team over There."
